Maestro supports keyboard shortcuts in some of its panels, including the main window. Perhaps you can fire something from a foot switch or pedal! You can also use MIDI to trigger Keyboard Maestro macros. The Keyboard Maestro Application Palette displays a list of all the applications you currently have open and lets you switch between those applications with a click of a button. For example, your macros could help you navigate running applications or work with an unlimited number of clipboards. You use the Keyboard Maestro Editor to create, manage, and edit Keyboard Maestro macros and palettes. Keyboard Maestro enables you to create or record custom macro shortcuts that you can activate at any time. In this tutorial we’re going to do exactly look at that and consider how you can manipulate text inside Keyboard Maestro macros. You could make a mini midi-keyboard out of any keys which is a great application for sound design. Keyboard Maestro will take your Macintosh experience to a new level. Keyboard Maestro can also send and receive MIDI information. You could potentially make a macro for notes and give them to your client! They could write notes in timecode, without pressing pause.
